Publication Frequency
Publication Frequency
The Arab Media Renewal Journal (AMRJ) is published on a semi-annual basis, releasing two issues per calendar year. This frequency has been established to ensure a sustainable flow of high-quality, rigorously peer-reviewed content while maintaining the editorial standards expected by international indexing services, including Scopus and Clarivate Analytics (Web of Science).
Publication Schedule
Issue 1 is published in June of each year, and Issue 2 is published in December of each year. The submission system remains open year-round, and manuscripts are processed on a rolling basis.
Timeliness and Continuity
AMRJ is committed to strict adherence to its publication schedule. Timeliness of publication is a core criterion in both Scopus and Clarivate evaluations, and the journal's editorial workflow is designed to ensure that each issue is published on time, with no delays or gaps in the publication record. The journal maintains a pipeline of accepted manuscripts to guarantee issue completeness.
Early View / Online First
Accepted manuscripts that have completed the peer review and production process may be published online ahead of their formal issue assignment under an "Early View" or "Online First" designation. These articles receive their DOI upon online publication and are fully citable immediately.
Special Issues
AMRJ may publish occasional special issues or thematic supplements on topics of particular significance to Arab media scholarship. Special issues are subject to the same peer review and editorial standards as regular issues and are announced in advance through the journal's website and communication channels.
