Crossmark Policy

The Arab Media Renewal Journal (AMRJ) participates in Crossmark, a multi-publisher initiative from Crossref that provides a standard mechanism for readers to locate the current, authoritative version of a published article.

By clicking the Crossmark logo on any AMRJ article, readers can verify whether the content they are reading is the most up-to-date version and whether any corrections, retractions, or updates have been issued since initial publication.

Commitment to the Scholarly Record

AMRJ is committed to maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record. When changes to published articles are necessary - whether due to the identification of errors, the need for corrections, or the retraction of content - the journal will update the Crossmark metadata accordingly. This ensures that readers, librarians, and indexing services always have access to accurate publication status information.

Types of Post-Publication Updates

Corrections (Errata) are issued when minor errors are identified that do not affect the core findings or conclusions. Retractions are issued when serious issues such as research misconduct, unreliable data, or plagiarism are confirmed. Expressions of Concern are issued when an investigation is underway but not yet concluded.

All post-publication notices are linked to the original article through its DOI and are reflected in the Crossmark record.
